| The Schwaz silver mines have had a new attraction since Spring 2005: An accurate and functional replica (over 10 metres high) of the water wheel, first erected in 1515 by Wolfgang Lasser. The so-called “Schwaz water artwork” served to drain the Stollen. An engineering masterpiece from the 16th century. Experience a fascinating piece of medieval culture.
